Nathalie Djaja

Nathalie Djaja is a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University where she studies the biophysical mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. She completed her BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego.
Nathalie has been awarded a pre-doctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health, and the Thomas Hunt Morgan Fellowship and the Owens Fellowship from Johns Hopkins University to undertake her thesis work. She has published her work in several peer-reviewed scientific journals. Nathalie has mentored undergraduate and graduate students in the lab, and has completed her Teaching Certification at Johns Hopkins University. She has also participated in life sciences consulting internships and case competitions. Nathalie wants to combine her scientific background with business knowledge to serve as a successful life sciences consultant.

In her free time, Nathalie enjoys spending time with her puppy, Moose, living an active and healthy lifestyle, cooking, and traveling.
