Michael is a veteran of the Diagnostics and Life Science tools industry, starting his career in the laboratory and transitioning to the commercial side of the business. He has a passion for In Vitro Diagnostics, believing that the key to better treatment and quality of life starts with accurate and timely diagnosis of disease.

Michael has held positions in Marketing, Product Management, Strategy, and Business Development at companies such as Gen-Probe (Hologic), Nanogen, Cepheid (Danaher), Abaxis (Zoetis), and Immucor (Werfen). He was also a Managing Consultant at Navigant Consulting where he focused on the life science and diagnostics markets.

Michael holds a BS in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, an MPH in Epidemiology from San Diego State University, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and is active in youth athletics.
